Though this very unique vintage skirt has no label, the design is much like Claire McCardell items I've had, and I would be comfortable saying it is an unlabelled Claire.

The burlap is a very different color, a coral rose red. It is definitely made very well, with large seam selvages with piped edges. It has a slightly high waist due to wide waistband, and hooks and eyes and a back zipper. The pockets and the waistband are lined in plaid. The buttons on the pockets are plastic made to look like wood. Unlined. It is truly one of a kind!
